...where we're assaulted daily by bad news and Debbie Downers, sometimes a little bit of sunshine is exactly what we need to keep us from just going back to bed and pulling the covers over our heads.
The Whitemare and I were out early this morning taking our daily stroll along the river. The air was chilly, the leaves on the trees are turning and the water was just ever so quietly lapping against the shoreline. It's the best time of day for some peaceful contemplation before the hustle and bustle of the day begins.
So, I got to thinking: we here at EDE love us some silliness, but even more than that, simple acts of kindness make our hearts glad. (Now, I might just be speaking for me, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's more than just me) Anyway, what we (I am) are proposing is tossing out a new hashtag that reads #WarmFuzziesWeekend. Every Saturday, I'll get us started by @-ing someone who has made me feel like maybe the world isn't such a cranky place to be residing and I invite all of you folks to @ somebody who gave you your warm fuzzy this week. It doesn't have to be anything big, just something to let somebody else know that they made your heart a little bit glad.
