Boy oh boy oh boy, you guys, have we got something for you! We have a guest announcement! You thought we were done in 2019 when #EDE2020 was the thing? Well, so did we…but don’t tell anyone I told you. But…then 2020 happened and things got turned on their ear…and then 2021 decided to make a scene and things got even more turned on their ear and now we’ve been turned on our ears so much, we barely know which end is up anymore!!
(Can somebody bring me a cup of tea and tuck me into bed, please)
So, since life kept bringing us surprises – albeit yucky ones – we decided that we would bring you a surprise!
However, for those of you who’ve been with us a while now, you know that, in true EDE fashion, we’re not gonna just tell you, we’re gonna put it in the form of a brain straining puzzle before we do.
For those of you who don’t like brain-straining puzzles, we’re sorry; you’re gonna have to wait just a little bit longer to find out who will be joining us. For those of you who DO like brain-straining puzzles…well, this one’s a dilly of a pickle.
Now remember! The most important thing here is to NOT SPOIL IT FOR OTHERS! DO NOT POST THE ANSWER ON TWITTER, DO NOT MAKE OUR GUEST ANNOUNCEMENT FOR US, but do feel free reply to our tweet with an “I got it” or something similar if you feel the spirit moves you. If we catch you spilling our beans, we're going to put you into a time out until you've had enough time to think about what you've done. Anyway, since we are EDE, and we do hate doing things without tossing a little something back to you, how about this...
The first three people to DM us with the correct answer and HOW you solved the puzzle/riddle/brain-strain, we’ll drop one of those Season 4 mini posters to you. We love giving little stuff away whenever we can.
And, with that, allow me to regale you with a little story from my classroom….
SO, I CAUGHT THIS GIRL TRYING TO PASS A NOTE OFF, A PERSON AT A TIME, TO THIS BLOKE OVER ON THE FAR SIDE OF THE CLASS AND I NIMBLY SNATCHED IT BEFORE AN INCIDENT AROSE. BUT, IT WAS THE ABSOLUTE PITS AND IT WAS WHOLLY DONE UP IN CODE!
IT TOOK ME MUCH LONGER THAN IT NEEDED TO HAVE IN ORDER TO SOLVE THE THING. FROM HERE ON OUT, IT’S ROWS OF 25 KIDS, EACH 1 FAR APART.
SOME KIDS ARE JUST UNLUCKY, I GUESS.
