Day 2

Updated: Aug 30, 2019

Good morning (afternoon, evening), Earpers!

Today begins day 2 of the volunteer applications being open. So far, we’ve received a big handful of them and they keep rolling in.

First, thank you to those who’ve already applied. We sent an email to you today acknowledging your application with a tiny bit of information about what to expect in the upcoming weeks. As we stated in our email, we are going to get through them as quickly as we possibly can and right now, we’re aiming to have a notification to you by the end of the month. We here at EDE know how much waiting to hear new stinks, so we’re trying to get to things much sooner rather than much later.

If, while you’re waiting, you think of something that you forgot to tell us or remember something else that you think we need to know or find that there’s something you need to change, you can fill the application out again. Just be sure to write “CORRECTION” or “ADDITION” at the top of the section where you’ll be adding your change. You can also just send us an email here at Volunteers@earpdivisionexpo.

We promise, we won’t hold it against you.

Second, if you are chosen to be a volunteer, we’ll be sending you an email asking you to answer questions that are more specific to the position to which you’d prefer, in order for us to narrow down where you’d best be utilized.

Lastly, if you’re a little late to the party and aren’t seeing this before that (tentative) August 31st notification date and you’d would like to volunteer, don’t despair. Depending on where we are, there might still be a need for your skills. Feel free to send out an application and we’ll absolutely let you know within a couple of days what the situation is.

As always, check back here for any new information and, if you haven’t already, be sure to sign up for our email list, and follow us on twitter @earpdivisionxpo for all the latest news and information.

Who doesn't love to get a gift? Almost nobody I know. And who doesn't love giving gifts? Monsters. Monsters don't love giving gifts. I recently read something interesting about the psychology of gift
